Project Description
Major pipeline infrastructure project connecting Syncrude operations within Suncor's integrated oil sands facility. Critical infrastructure linking processing units and transportation systems.Paul Ekberg was the lead scheduler planner for the Wood Engineering executed scope for Engineering & Procurement of Suncor's Syncrude interconnecting pipeline that completed in 2022. This project was designed to transport sour naphtha as two bi-directional pipelines to carry feedstock from Suncor to Syncrude, and vice versa were constructed with the goal of enhancing operational flexibility at Syncrude.
